Who Should Be Able To Administer Anesthesia? Anesthesiology Assistants? Nurse Anesthetists?
 
The most common manner in which anesthesia is administered is in the Anesthesia Care Team approach. The care team consists of anesthesiologists, medical-directing either anesthesiology residents, anesthesiologist assistants or nurse anesthetists.
