Monique C.M. Leahy, JD



Ms. Leahy is nationally recognized as a premier authority on medical-legal and personal injury litigation, employment and workers’ compensation issues, Internet law, and state-specific civil litigation in her over 85 published works that include over 40 practitioner publications. She is an attorney licensed in Washington, Missouri, and Kansas. While in private practice, Ms. Leahy focused on litigation as well as corporate transactions and telecommunications law. She is a former managing editor at Lawyers Cooperative Publishing/Research Institute of America, a subsidiary of Thomson Reuters. She has a B.A., University of Washington, and a J.D., Seattle University School of Law.


Nancy Graber, JD, LLM



Nancy Graber is an attorney specializing in employee benefits, executive compensation, and related issues.  Her background includes serving as of counsel at DLA Piper, as a principal at Mercer Human Resource Consulting, and as the managing editor for a group of employee benefits publications for a division of Thomson Publishing. Nancy holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University, a law degree from DePaul University, and a Master of Laws in Taxation (with Certificate in Employee Benefits Law) from Georgetown University.  She is admitted to the bar in Illinois and Pennsylvania.

Patricia Proebsting is a staff attorney with the Northwest Justice Project providing legal services to low-income persons in Washington State. She is currently working with information management technicians to develop a statewide network of research resources for legal services attorneys. She has a B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of Washington and a J.D. degree from Seattle University.

Sarah Kelman is a Legal Writing Instructor, California State University, Fullerton. Formerly, she was with the Department of Justice-Federal Bureau of Prisons. She has a B.A. Russian Studies, University of Georgia; an M.A. Film Studies, University of Wisconsin; and a J.D. University of Georgia.


Heidi Gilchrist, JD

Ms. Gilchrist is a Lecturer-in-Law at Columbia Law School where she teaches legal writing. Her former law practice included securities litigation and international law in New York City.  She has a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.A. from Yale University and was a Fulbright Scholar in Damascus, Syria.

Alla Khodykin is a graduate of Columbia University (CC '14) specializing in Business Management and Russian Literature. Her interest in law springs from a combination of studying the literature of a historically lawless society and her involvement with the Columbia Parliamentary Debate Society, where she has served as the Community Outreach Coordinator. She is a licensed English-Russian court translator for the state of California. Ms. Khodykin has been accepted to Cornell Law School's International Legal JD/ LLM program and currently works as a Business Analyst at Wolters Kluwer.
